Warehousing facilities
IGLO’s MTCF in Port Klang is one of the largest cold storage facilities in Malaysia with a total capacity of 18,000 pallets, and it is also the first cold chain logistics facility accredited with HALAL and HACCP certifications.
The MTCF comprises several independent interlinked cold rooms which are equipped with various storage racking systems for different storage requirements, each with independent automatic temperature setting from +25°C to as low as -28°C, and also equipped with the blast freezing facility.
The MTCF is equipped with modern handling facilities with covered elevated loading platforms, reefer plug points, inflatable dock seals and adjustable dock levelers. The uniquely designed MTCF allows the customers’ goods are transported, stored, packed and labeled in a cold environment under one roof, and the goods are unloaded directly from the containers into a 10°C area via sealed doorway, before being carted-off into the chill or freeze chambers.
